People do better throughout their lives when they are empowered and enabled to access support and opportunities from within their communities. This not only strengthens their immediate social, emotional, financial and physical wellbeing but also creates opportunities for the future. Rising Footsteps fully engages with the community and families garnering resources and actions to address and overcome barriers that contribute to underserving outcomes.
Pathways
Rising Footsteps works to prove high-risk youth involved in the juvenile justice system can be safely and effectively served in home and community-based settings. We build programs that offer alternatives to detention and state incarceration, supports youth pre and post-adjudication and provide reintegration support for youth transitioning from out-of-home placements.
Ladies First
Ladies First Girls Mentoring program is designed for girls, by girls, to help catapult powerful middle and high school girls' voices. We support their journeys through skills development and coaching in all areas of life. With two programs -"TE_Ball and "Rise" -- we support girls in two areas --athletics (basketball) and academia (cyber, technology and engineering).
TE_BALL
TE_ Ball focuses on girls' basketball competition and academic enrichment building skills in Cyber/Technolgy and Engineering alongside personal development, leadership, goal setting and results-driven achievement mentoring.
RISE
RISE is a mentoring program focused solely on personal development, leadership, goal setting and results-driven achievements.
Boys II Men
Rising Footsteps not only recognizes the impact of positive male role models but also how consistent male mentoring for boys benefits the community as a whole. Rising Footsteps partners with organizations committed to helping boys become the best men they can be and offer services in leadership, personal goal setting, and academic enrichment.

STOPPING TRAFFICK
Trafficking refers to the exploitation of girls and boys, women and men forced into labor and sexual based lives. Rising Footsteps not only works with law enforcement to educate and provide the community with awareness of ways to combat this criminal activity but also works with social services to provide support to victims in areas of counseling, education, self-reliance and mental strength.
